25.03.2013:CEC Meeting of Madhya Pradesh Circle:CEC of AIBSNLOA MP Circle was held on 23.3.2013 at Hotel Pleasure Inn Bhopal. The meeting was presided by Com.J.N.Mishra, Circle President. GS, AIBSNLOA was given a warm welcome by presenting of bouquet by Com.G.P.Patel, CS. All the circle office-bearers, DSs and CEC members attended the meeting. Com. P.K.Jha Ex-CWC member of SNEA MP Circle and Com.R.K.Narang Ex-ADS of SNEA MP Circle along with a large number of SNEA members joined AIBSNLOA formally. During the open session, the meeting hall overflew with members of AIBSNLOA as well as members of other associations. Com. Rakesh Sethi, GS AIBSNLOA in his speech explained the status on 78.2 IDA fittment, ITS absorption, seniority of TES group B, Non holding of DPC for a long time for promotion from JTO to SDE/ JAO to AO / SDE to DE and DE to JAG, failure of managememt and court cases. GS also provided the status of various court cases pending in different courts throughout India and requested the Executives not to approach the court directly without exhausting the grievance channels with BSNL management. He also requested the Executives not to seek stay on DPC and to limit their prayer to rectifying the discrepancy in seniority, because it does not help the petitioners and also goes against the senior members. There were elaborate discussions on BSNL viability. GS also explained about the goals of AIBSNLOA and how AIBSNLOA has got the recognition from the executives of BSNL irrespective of association membership. Number of members spoke on different issues , giving their valuable suggestions regarding BSNL viability. All the questions raised by the members were replied by the GS to their satisfaction. Com. P.K.Jha and Com. RK Narang have been co-opted as office-bearers of AIBSNLOA MP Circle body. Before start of the CEC meeting, GMTD, Bhopal district body was formed in the presence of Circle President Sh.J.N. Mishra and Circle Secretary Sh. G. P. Patel. In the GMTD branch 20 new members have joined our Association and many more will be joining in the near future. 22.04.2012: : GLORIOUS FIRST AIC   The First All India Conference of AIBSNLOA was conducted in a very grand manner at Trichy on 20th and 21st of April.  It was a grand success and the tireless work and united efforts of Tamil Nadu circle comrades are very much appreciable. 30.12.2011: CGMT, MP circle called an meeting of all Associations/Unions of MP circle on 27.12.2011. From our Association side CS attended the meeting. The meeting started from 1500hrs and ended at 1815hrs. The points of discussions were- 1.Staff participation in management. 2.New ways of working to increase revenue and 3.Gender equity. Our association gave eight suggestions and majority of them were taken into account. .

17.09.2011: BSNL has submitted its proposals to Minister of Communications & IT, with all relevant details as a power point presentation. As per BSNL's proposals the VRS to BSNL employees will provide for 'Ex-gratia amount of 60 days of salary (Pay + DA) for each completed year of service or salary for number of months of service left, whichever is less. Scheme will be made open to all employees above the age of 45 years. All the other retirement benefits will be payable by the Government. DoT has been requested to provide Rs.11,276 crores towards ex-gratia payable to around 1 lakh estimated VRS optees, as a non-interest bearing lumpsum grant or infusion of additional equity.' 14.06.2011: AIBSNLOA MP CIRCLE IS VERY PROUD TO HONOUR OUR CGM for the steps taken in MP Telecom circle to encourage the officers who have given their best output for BSNL.  For the first time in BSNL, only in MP circle Utkrishta Karya Nispadan prizes have been announced. CGMT MP CIRCLE convened a meeting with all associations and unions and requested to propose best employees of their association/ union who have worked for the betterment of BSNL. On 10.06.2011, Certificates were given by Shri.N.K. Yadav, CGMT, MP circle on behalf of BSNL and the prizes were given to the awardees by their respective association/union.

24.05.2011: CGMT MP convened a "PRESS MEET today" which was also attended by representatives of all associations and unions. CGMT addressed the media persons and discussed about the steps and efforts that are being  taken to strengthen GSM coverage. After that, Our CGM conducted a meeting with the representatives of all associations and unions. Suggestions were welcomed and on behalf of our association, our CS gave some points which we were writing all along to circle administration.

04.02.2011:  On 03.02.2011 the results of 5th membership verification for Gr 'C' & 'D' were announced.  In MP circle, Majority of the polled votes have been shared by BSNLEU & NFTE-BSNL.  AIBSNLOA OF MP Circle congratulates both the unions.  For noble cause and safeguarding BSNL, our Association will give a helping hand and join with them and expects the same also.

28.01.2011:  MP circle administration has released a list of executives with longest stay in 4 metro cities only of MP vide lr dated 17.01.11 & 25.01.11 thus violating BSNL corporate's Transfer policy. Executives in all the SSAs who are having longest stay i.e more than 10 years in the same station in all SSAs should be considered for transfer. Already our CS has written to MP circle administration vide our letter dated 14.01.2011 to be transparent and follow the guidelines in the Transfer policy to maintain goodwill between our association and the management. 23.12.10: Outcome of the meetings with CMD and other senior officers (on 21st and 22nd December 2010 where our Circle President  Com.J.N.Mishra and Circle Secretary Com.G.P.Patel were present with GS):
1. Denial of revised IDA pay scales for JTOs & equivalent and SDEs & equivalent cadres: We were informed that DoT has not referred the proposals to DPE during the past one and a half years. BSNL is still pursuing with DoT.  We have insisted that since DPE has made it clear that intermediary scales would not be allowed, BSNL should pursue for only E2 and E3 scales as replacement scales.
2. Anomaly in pay fixation for JTO Batches 2006 & 2007: The case is pending with Management Committee of BSNL.
3. DPC for promotion from JTO to SDE (T): Since the court stay has been got vacated, the process has been started again. But ACRs for eligible candidates are still awaited from some Circles and the process would be completed next month.  We have requested to expedite the process.
4. DPC for promotion to DGM (T) on adhoc basis:  The process is nearing completion and around 250 regular DEs are likely to be promoted as DGM on adhoc basis shortly.  We have requested that action for regularisation of the remaining adhoc DEs and promoting more SDEs to DE adhoc should follow immediately afterwards.  It has been agreed to. We have requested to ensure that disputes in seniority list of SDEs are removed finally by putting end to litigations.
5. Promotion from SDE (Civil) to EE (Civil): DPC was said to have been completed and orders are likely to be issued in a few days. 
6. Promotion from SDE (E) to EE (E): Vigilance clearance for some SDEs (E) are yet to be received from CVO.
7. Suspension of long-stay transfer in all cadres: We requested that unnecessary expenditure on this account may be avoided at a time when BSNL's finance is in a bad shape.  He has agreed to consider the issue further.

08.12.10: Com. Edmon Lakra, aged 43yrs, SDE(Project), WTP Jabalpur and District Treasurer of our GMTD Branch, Jabalpur passed away today morning at 6.00am.  He is our active member. He is survived by his wife Smt. Urmila Lakra and two small kids 5yrs and 3yrs daughters, Funeral will take place at Bilhari Kabristan , Jabalpur on 09.12.2010 at 1000hrs.  May his soul rest in peace.

05.12.2010: Com. Edmon Lakra, SDE(Project), Jabalpur and District Treasurer of our GMTD Branch, Jabalpur has met with an accident and hit by four wheeler while he was riding two wheeler this night. His condition is not good and he is being treated in Marble City Hospital, Jabalpur. Let us pray the almighty for his early recovery.

02.11.2010:Our stand on time bound functional promotion as offered during absorption vindicated: Right from the day of formation of AIBSNLOA, we have taken a consistent stand that the BSNL Executive Promotion Policy is blatant violation of the terms and conditions offered to us while exercising option for absorption in BSNL which provided for 'promotion upto SG JAG level every four to six years' without linking to post and 'post-based promotion above SG JAG level.' [view AIBSNLOA CHQ's First Circular dated 12.2.2008].  It is reliably learnt that Principal CAT, New Delhi, while disposing of an application, which was initiated by Com.G.P.Patel, our Circle Secretary and in which our CS is second applicant, has ordered that BSNL should implement time bound functional promotions for its Executives within 3 months as has been envisaged in the Terms and Conditions for absorption, thus vindicating our stand.

15.10.2010: Our Circle Secretary and our circle President met CGMT Bhopal on 15.10.2010.  The meeting lasted for half an hour and the following points were discussed and the meeting was fruitful.  

1. The TBP promotion to PA/PS by the end of November, 2010.

2. The The GSM coverage will be improved.

3. During Association/Union strikes the officer/official who wants to do duty

will not be stopped from entering at the main gate of offices(BSNL).

4. The E2-E3 TBP of Engineering wing will be released soon.

5. The DPC for DE(officiating) will be conducted in November/December 2010.

6. The DPC for SDE(officiating) will be done in March 2011

09.09.2010: AIBSNLOA GS along with our CS G.P.Patel met Member (services) to express our views through very nice power point presentation about the four important issues and other points of SamPitroda committee's recommendations.  It was a fruitful meeting and we were requested to give our further views within few days. From the management side Member (services),DDG(Security), Director(PSU), ED (Finance), ED(CN), GM (SR) and GM(Restructuring) were present from DOT and BSNL.  The meeting lasted for one and half an hour and it was very much appreciated.

01.08.2010: Our circle Secy. has written a letter to CMD thro' our GS, regarding conducting of departmental exams in time, settling the cases filed on eligibility within a reasonable time limit and preparing seniority list immediately after declaring the results. 27.07.2010: MP circle administration has received a reply from GM(CM) which contains manipulated, false information about GSM working in MP circle.  Our association is worried about the deteriorating condition of GSM coverage and MP circle administration should take the responsibility of knowing the real picture and correct it. 09.07.2010: In JAO posting orders of departmental candidates, our GS com. V.P. 08.07.2010: Inter circle transfer orders released by corporate office long back,have not been implemented by MP circle administration so far.  Moreover, orders released by MP circle in lieu of Longest stay within circle are also not implemented.  As in the previous years, without any discrimination/consideration all should be equally treated and transferred. Our circle union insists the circle administration to relieve the officers immediately who got intercircle transfers and implement the transfer orders for longstay within circle and rotational transfers of non-executives in sensitive posts.  click to view the letter.

08.05.2010:  AIBSNLOA UP East Circle was formed today in a well attended and grand meeting held in Lucknow.  The meeting was addressed by Com.V.P.Arya, GS, our circle President, Com.J.N.Mishra and our circle Secretary, Com.G.P.Patel. Com.Pradeep Kevlani, JTO (E), Com.Krishnacharan, SDE and Com.Arun Kumar, SDE have been elected as President, Secretary and Finance Secretary of UP East Circle.  Senior Comrades Atul Sharma, DGM (Vig) and S.C.Tiwari, DGM (Mktg) will represent the Circle as CWC members.  It is further a mile stone of AIBSNLOA.

26.04.2010:Beware of rumours and rumour-mongers: One Executive Association, out of its frustratio arising out of the growth and success of AIBSNLOA in MP Circle, has started spreading rumours that AIBSNLOA is going to merge with it and harassing our members to join it.  We have restrained ourselves all along from commenting on any other Association.  But we cannot remain silent any further.  Formation of AIBSNLOA was necessitated because of the two associations then in BSNL joined hands with the unscrupulous elements to implement measures one by one which were detrimental to the interests of BSNL.  They are totally responsible for the present state of affairs in BSNL.  They are co-sponsors of the faulty promotion policy, transfer policy, the disastrous Recruitment Rules for Group A and Management Trainees and they are responsible for continuation of officers who refuse to get absorbed in BSNL on deputation.  They are annoyed since AIBSNLOA has exposed ther ill-motives and ill-deeds.  On the other hand AIBSNLOA is taking up issues seriously and is settling them.  AIBSNLOA's views on every issue are appreciated and welcomed by all the Executives.  The Executives are seen increasingly attracted towards AIBSNLOA and its transparent functioning.  This has irked the rumour-mongers.  They are trying to harass and pressurise our members.  They are indecently publishing names of our office-bearers as if they have become their members, when the truth is otherwise.  This shows they have developed cold feet.  The leaders of these two Associations are trying to merge, for their self-interest, inspite of opposition from their members.  But they spread plain lies that we are merging with one of them.  We warn all against these rumour mongers.  BEWARE.  The same association has written in its website (reported virus attack site) that AIBSNLOA is a group of individuals and is non-existent.  If so, why it is so much alarmed?  Let it not forget that no Executive Association in BSNL has been recognised, as no membership verification has taken place.  Any claim by any association about the size of its membership is only imaginary.  The day is not far away when these people will regret their words, when they become non-existent.

22.09.2009: A General Body Meeting of members of AIBSNLOA was held on 19.09.2009 , in the presence of Sh. V.P. Arya, Hon?ble General Secretary AIBSNLOA. Circle Governing Body of M.P. Telecom Circle was unanimously formed after election held under the Electoral Officer Sh. P.N. Dohre. General Secretary wished all success to the governing council of Circle body of M.P. Circle. He heard all the issues of members of electric wing, civil wing and Official language cadre too. After formation of governing body, CS and President of AIGETOA, M.P. Telecom Circle also joined us and discussed about the anomalies of HR policies of BSNL. Brief of discussion centered around dissatisfaction of Gr ? B? officers due to inactiveness of leadership of various associations of BSNL in respect of policy making decisions

20.09.2009: AIBSNLOA Madhya Pradesh Circle formed: A General Body meeting of AIBSNLOA MP Circle was held at India Coffee House, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal on 19.09.2009 at 1630 Hrs.
